I need to get a side hustle, I need to finish my book,

I need to find a husband, I need to sort out how I look.

I need to see my friends for dinner, I need to buy my mom flowers,

I need to make the most of my twenties, I need to sleep 8 hours.

I need to taste the latest non-dairy milk, I need to take a bath,

I need to convert to vegan, I need to read The Telegraph.

I need to prioritise self care, I need to detox my gut,

I need to meditate each morning, I need to get out of this rut.

I need to keep abreast of politics, I need to decide how to vote,

I need to get new curtains, I need to dry clean my coat.

I need to sort my life out, I need to save to buy,

I need to start investing, I need a moment to cry.

I need to be an adult, I need to freeze my eggs,

I need to keep on top of the washing, I need to shave my legs.

I need to do daily yoga, I need to learn how to code,

I need to take time out for me, I need to lighten my load.

I need to crack on with Christmas shopping, I need to check out that new bar,

I need to defrost the freezer, I need to learn guitar.

I need to find my best angle, I need to update my Insta,

I need to fight for a cause I believe in, I need to protest at Westminster.

I need to visit my grandma, I need to trace my family tree,

I need to realise I’m not obligated, I need to appreciate I’m free.

I need to read Russian Literature, I need to find the universe’s deeper meaning,

I need to ask life’s big questions, I need to stop myself from screaming.

I need to try a barre class, I need to find a signature scent,

I need to watch Green Mile, I need to pay my rent.

I need to listen to that new album, I need to improve my twerk,

I need to get a move on, or I’m gonna be late for work.
